Daily Prayer for October 9, 2020
Prayer: Father, your Word tells us not to worry or be anxious about anything, but, instead, to cast all of our cares upon you with thanksgiving, making all of the concerns that affect us known to you. You tell us plainly that you care for us because, as a Father, you love us and work exceedingly and abundantly beyond anything we can imagine or ask. We know that you have told us not to fear because you have redeemed us. We read your promises to always be with us even when the cares of this world, like a flood, surround us. Forgive us for not believing you. Forgive us for knowing what you Word says and then fail to act on it. Please help us believe that you care for your people working all things to the glory of your name and your people's good. We pray this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
