Rev. William F. Hill, Jr, Pastor
Rev. Hill was called and installed as the pastor of Providence in November 2020. He graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (2016) and served as a Ruling Elder at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. He is married (Apr. 1988) and has three grown children (Danielle, Jennifer, and Bryan). Pastor Hill enjoys playing golf and chess when he can find the time. He is an avid baseball fan.
Pastor Hill is currently pursuing a D.Min in Pastoral Studies from Whitefield Theological Seminary.

Mr. David Matzen, Ruling Elder
David was born in Michigan and baptized in December 1939 in a Presbyterian Church USA and was active for many years in serving as a ruling elder, deacon, and chair of a pastor nominating committee. He graduated from university with degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Retired in 1997 after over 30 years as an engineer and engineering manager. Widowed in 2020 and have two children and four grandchildren in Evansville. In addition to church and Bible Study Fellowship, interests include family genealogy, listening to ’40s and ‘50’s music, reading, and exercise. Volunteer with Hospice and at Woodlands Nursing Home. God’s providence brought me to Providence Presbyterian Church where he continues to seek His help to serve and to grow in Christ.
Mr. Wayne Roberts, Deacon
Wayne was born in Savannah, GA the son of a Baptist minister. He grew up living in several places in Indiana as my father moved to different pastorates. He became a Christian, and was baptized while living in Hymera, IN in 1975. He graduated from Albany HS in Albany, WI in 1979. In the summer of 1979, He joined the United States Air Force, and was stationed at Pope AFB, NC; Soesterburg AB Netherlands; Dover AFB, DE; Tinker AFB, OK and was discharged in 1992. He moved to Louisville, KY at that time and lived there until 2014, at which time he moved to Evansville, IN.
