Daily Prayer for October 5, 2020

Prayer: Our God in heaven, you alone are holy and sovereign, the only true God of heaven and earth. We praise you for your divine wisdom in governing all of your creation and all your creatures. We thank you that you are good and gracious to your people, a God who forgives sin and unrighteousness because of the work of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that you would help us this week to live our lives as living sacrifices before you. As sheep, we frequently wander from your ways. We desire to be as holy as is possible for sinners. Help us, by your Spirit, to do all that you have told us and to do it with joy and delight as those who have the great privilege to be ambassadors of the King of Kings and Lord of lords. We pray this in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
