Daily Prayer for November 24, 2020
Prayer: Our Father in heaven, we thank you for every good and perfect gift that you bring into our lives. We confess that we do not always understand your providence as these gifts sometimes come in the form of dark and difficult times. We confess that we are prone to griping and complaining about our circumstances and forget that we should be content if we have food and clothing. We know your word exhorts us to flee murmuring and complaining because it is a direct attack on your sovereign right to rule and reign over us. We pray that you would cause us to learn contentment and trust you regardless of the circumstance or station of our lives. Please grant to us what you command and help us by your Spirit. We pray this in the name of the one who was content to suffer for our sake. Amen.
